Hello, and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! This is by far my favorite time of year, and I hope it brings joy to you, and yours!
The past few months have been filled with excitement. I attended some amazing country concerts, went to the 45th Annual CMA Awards in Nashville, and met some wonderful people. It's been AMAZING, and such a blessing. I feel very grateful! :)
Below, please find some pictures from my most recent adventures:

As always, I want to thank my friends and family for their support. I feel very blessed to have you in my life. Thank you all for stopping by, and have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy Chanukah!!!
Hello, and happy spring! So many exciting things have happened in the past few months! I'm happy to share! :)
For starters, I am still LOVING my career as an On-Air Radio Personality! I am so attached to the station I work for; it is just awesome! Not to mention, the people that I work with are wonderful! They have been so kind and supportive. I'm truly grateful. Getting to know the listeners is such a pleasure too. I feel like I am making new friends everyday! I just can't proclaim enough how thrilled I am to be working for such a successful station!
I'm also happy to announce that a music video spoof I worked on was recently released, and has been making the rounds on the major news channels. I worked on this project with James O'Keefe, (who rose to fame for his undercover journalism), among other great filmmakers. This video was even shown on FNC's "Red Eye!" Below, please find a link to watch the video on "Red Eye."
Additionally, I'm also very excited to divulge that I am going to be serving as a Co-Host on an episode of "Red Eye" this year! I'm thrilled, and know it will be an epic experience. I will disclose more information and dates when available.
In other news, it has been brought to my attention that there appears to be a resurgence of interest in "Fright Club." ;) Due to this, it has recently become available at several new retailers, in addition to the places it was already accessable to rent. A friend of mine sent me a link to show that they were selling it at Walmart.com of all places. I'll provide that link below as well.
Finally, I've included several pictures in this update. Some are from when I was "formally introduced" as an On-Air Radio Personality. I was brought on stage at a station event, and it was a very special night for me. The other photos are pretty self-explanatory. :)
Last, but not least, I just want to thank those I am closest to. I feel so fortunate to have such brave, kind, and honest people in my life. I love you all, and it truly is a blessing!
Thank you, and enjoy life!!!

Hello, and Happy Holidays! I'm sorry it has been so long since I last updated my site. So much has happened, and there is a lot for me to share! :)
First, I'm ecstatic to announce that one of my lifelong dreams has come true, as I am now officially an On-Air Personality!!! I have a radio show on a very successful station, in a major market. I work for a very popular Country music station. It couldn't have worked out better, because I LOVE Country music, and this is a station that has been around for nearly 20 years.
I had been wanting to do this for quite some time, and had initially looked into working for a Hip-hop/dance music station. Ultimately, I'm really glad that didn't work out because, although I may be in that age demographic, it's not "me" at all. I'm not really into hip-hop, and do not keep up on the latest music. Plus, I would feel really uncomfortable saying "Yo" all the time! Haha!
The people I work with are awesome! I get the opportunity to attend great events, meet Country music artists, and participate in the station's many philanthropic endeavors.
The most rewarding aspect of this position is certainly the connection I get to make with the listeners. In my first few weeks on the air, I've had listeners call and thank me for playing a certain song that really helped them feel better about something they were going through. I feel so honored to be a part of people's lives in that way, and even more privileged that they would think enough to call and share with me!
So...that's what's new. Other than that, I am fortunate enough to be able to continue my Production work on a less frequent basis. A few months ago, I actually began working as a Supervising Producer! I work for such a fantastic Executive Producer, and he is actually really supportive of my pursuits. Thus, I still get to Produce television, and I'm very busy! Thank you, MAP!!! :)
In the midst of the excitement, I also received some great news about a television pilot I shot for Showtime. I just did it for fun, and it certainly fulfilled that requirement! :) The cast and crew were great, and it was a blast! I cannot disclose the news just yet. However, I will provide a link to the project below. (Warning: There is profanity in the pilot.)
Additionally, I've been working with some amazing filmmakers, affiliated with major networks. Below, please find pictures from a recent video shoot we worked on that was a great time! The footage has not yet been released. Yet, it will be widespread in the coming weeks, and I will keep you posted.
I was also recently afforded the opportunity to serve as a political analyst for a news organization, which was a tremendous experience.
I truly hope everyone is enjoying this Holiday season, and had a fun Halloween as well!
In addition to the aforementioned pictures, there are a few additional photos below. Some are from Halloween. I was Princess Peach, from Super Mario Bros., for the occasion. Anyone who knows me, knows I have a love for gaming, so this was an homage to that. It was very fun! The remaining pictures are of me in the studio during my first day of work, and a couple of shots of me out and about recently.
Finally, I just want to thank my friends and loved ones for their support! I feel so blessed to have such amazing people in my life! I'm surrounded by those who are truly intelligent, genuine, and wise enough to know what matters and what doesn't. This Holiday season, it is even more apparent to me, how fortunate I am to have loved ones that lack calculation in their kindness, and give more than they take. I only hope I can be as good to them in return! :)
See you in 2011!
Love and peace to all!!

UPDATE: (A friend sent me this link, as I didn't know it was online.)
(I did an interview for The Turlock Journal this past year, and it can be seen at the link above.)
At the station:
My first on-air "interview":
Happy New Year!!!!! Sorry I have taken so long to update...so much has happened. Let's see....FIRST...I want to congratulate my Saints on winning the Super Bowl...Yay Saints! I knew they were going to win...I predicted it at the Preseason game so people should really start believing me when I say I'm a little psychic...LOL! Anyways, below see some pics of myself, my mom, and some of the Coaches on the field, as well as some other team pics.
I recently worked on a print job during a break from my Casting Production work. I modeled for a few different brands. It was great! I was in this beautiful home with an amazing view. I will post a couple photos from that shoot as well. They have not even been retouched yet, so I must be feeling particularly gutsy! Haha!
Also, I am now Producing a new show that airs on MTV and CMT. It's an awesome show that helps teenagers. I will include links to some of my TV and radio spots for that show as well. I've been working in the Bay Area for that...Yay!
Lastly, I just want to give a "shout out" to my friends and family. You are all so supportive, and I appreciate you always being there!
(Please keep in mind these interviews are pretty chopped up as they were recorded while I was on the air)...
Aloha! Well I have been super busy trying to take over the world...LOL! Anyways, just wanted to give a quick update as I have been working on a major network show as the Producer of Casting and it was really fun and a lot of hard work, (as it always is)! Anyhow, due to my position on this FOX show, I got a call from the "Mark and Kristin Show" on KOST 103.5. We chatted a bit about the show I was working on. I didn't get it all recorded, but I managed to record some of it in my editing program. So, if you'd like to hear me talk about a recent project on air here is the link:
...I just threw it up there as a movie so it has some random pics that were basically just what was on my desktop today...Just me, and then a friend and I, and then my Uncle and cute cousin...Go figure! Anyways, Enjoy, and hope Halloween was fun!
Hello (: ...I just wanted to post these photos I was excited were emailed to me since I didn't have any...They are from one of my autograph signings for "Fright Club."
Hello all...So I'm happy to announce that you can now check out my comedy short "59th Street Pitbulls" online. It has been getting a ton of hits, and great feedback, on both You Tube and Funny or Die...Here is the link:
Hope everyone is having a nice summer, as I just came back from working on a TV show in NV and it was fun but busy...
Thanks and Enjoy!
I have a new update for everyone (: I'm happy to announce that I was cast in, and recently shot, a Television pilot. The name of the show is called "Union 415", and I play the Bartender. It was super fun, and the cast and crew were great people to work with. It was funny because I was supposed to get a drink thrown at me at one point during the shoot, and it was not really supposed to hit me. Yet, on one take it did, and it was hysterical. Everyone's reaction's were priceless, including mine. Anyways, below please find a link to some of the still pics from the shoot. I'll also include a couple of my favorite's below. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far...(Even if this L.A. weather has been a little odd)...Peace! R
Okay...so here are a couple of photos from the shoot of me in my character's "chola" make up and hair. Unfortunately, they are not that close up. Yet, trust me, I have some crazy eyebrows.....
"Damn, it feels good to be a gansta!"...haha!
And...as promised...Here is the debut pic of my nephew, Michael Elijah!
Hello!!! I apologize that I have been too busy to update everyone lately, as I've been getting a ton of emails from folks asking what I'm up to. Well...I'm very excited to say that I have been cast in a film for which I am playing a "chola"...hahaha! This is a comedy film, and I am so happy to be working with one of my closest friends, (and fellow "Groundling"), that I have known forever. We begin shooting tomorrow bright and early. Yet, I just had to share my excitement about how funny I'm going to look as a "chola." I'm going to have my eyebrows covered and then drawn in, and I'm going to have that dark red lipliner on with no lipstick to fill in my lips...It'll be great! I think I may even go around town like that just for fun! I'll be sure to post photos as soon as I get the chance so everyone can have a good laugh!
On a more personal note, I have also been busy because I had the great pleasure of spending some time with my adorable new nephew, Michael Elijah. He is absolutely precious and cute and cuddly, like a little ball. I am going to get a photo of him on here too because he's just too cute to miss.
Other than that, hope everyone had a nice Passover and Easter...and chat with you much sooner next time!
Happy Holidays!!! I hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving! I had a great time with my family being goofy and enjoying the rest! I have been super busy with various projects, so I apologize about the lag in postings. So here's what's been going on:
I was just recently Cast to be the Host of a new show for Video-on-Demand from the Producer's of "California Gold." The show consists of me travelling the California Coast and visiting all of the great tourist spots and interviewing experts in the area. I've already shot my first episode at The Queen Mary in Long Beach, and it was a blast!!! It's also ironic because I actually worked on The Queen Mary briefly when I was first in College. It was so weird because the guy that gave us the tour worked there when I did. I used to give the "spooky ghost tour" on the ship with him, so I knew the great questions to ask. All and all, it was a great first shoot, and there will be more to come. In the next few weeks, I will be able to post some footage from the show.
In addition to my new Hosting gig, I also had the GREAT pleasure of attending the premiere for the Ron Howard film "Frost/ Nixon" with one of my best friends, (and the Actor who plays Nixon's Speechwriter), Gabriel Jarret. It was amazing! I have been to many premiere's, and even some for my own film's, but this was very special to me. You see, a few years ago I was on an airplane bound for NYC with my Mom. We were fortunate enough to be sitting directly behind Ron Howard and his wife Cheryl on the plane. Being the "go-getter" that I am, I could not pass up an opportunity to meet one of the greatest filmmakers of our time. Yet, I was very naive back then, as I had not yet moved to Los Angeles, and knew very little about the business. So when I approached him on the plane I just told him that I greatly admired him, and that I wanted to be in entertainment. He offered me some advice. He told me to move to LA, get an Agent. and join the Screen Actor's Guild. He also said that with my obvious determination I could do these things. He was very nice, and I never forgot it. So imagine the feeling I got of "coming full circle" when one of my best friend's introduces me to Ron again at the premiere, and he says "Hi Renee. It's really nice to meet you", and I say, "Actually, we met a few years ago." I told him the whole story, and how he gave me advice, and he said "I hope I didn't steer you wrong...Well I guess I didn't because you're here!" Anyways, we laughed and he thought it was such a neat story, and I left that night wondering of all the kids that had ever approached Ron Howard and said they wanted to Act, how many actually met him several years later at his own movie premiere with one of the film's stars to tell him they followed his advice?! It was a good feeling.
Yet, most importantly, I was soooo proud of my friend Gabe!!! He does phenomenal in his role, and the film is AMAZING! I told Frank Langella he was transcendent! I would be surprised if he did not win an Oscar for his performance. He WAS Nixon! Everyone should see this film.
I wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and a Great New Year!
Below, please find some pics of me at the premiere, as well as some links to our red carpet photos:
(Photos from the new TV Show shoot to follow)
Hello everyone!!! Sorry it's been so long since my last News Update. I've had a lot of great opportunities come my way that I'm very excited about. First, I want to let everyone know that my demo reel is now available for viewing online! All you have to do is click on this link, www.youtube.com, and like magic you'll have access to a brief compilation of my most recent work. Yet, continue to check back from time to time, because there are still several projects that I have recently wrapped that are yet to be posted.
In other news...I had the great opportunity to interview some of the Coaches and Players of the New Orleans Saints for a major sports network! The interviews took place in Vegas, and I had such a blast hanging out with all of them there. I also learned a lot about the team, and what they're doing for New Orleans. They were all such great guys, and I was thrilled because I got to be a part of their weekend, and Host for a great, (yet top-secret), sports network!
Below, here are a few pictures of myself, my Producing Partner, and one of the Coaches...Mike Cerullo, as well as former Runningback and the person currently in charge of Player Development, Fred McAfee:
Chat with you all soon, and enjoy!
Hey everyone. Happy New Year! Hope all is well. I've been very busy. Yet I did want to take a moment to post a few pics of my recent trip to the Sundance Film Festival. It was so much fun, and such a gorgeous little town! I'll be able to update you all soon on my current projects. Until then, you all rock my world (: R
Hello everyone, and Happy Holidays!
I have been super busy, so sorry I haven't updated in a while. Yet, I want to say that I really appreciate those that have written me in the last few months. The support is amazing! THANK YOU!! As far as what's been keeping me busy, I am still working hard on my feature film. It's coming together really well, and I'm taking a little longer in Pre- Production because I want it to be phenomenal. Shooting will begin in '08...and that will be a dream come true. I have, however, taken on an additional project...so I am multi-tasking. I have developed a Production Company with a good friend of mine called Reres/Fischman Productions...(Both our last names...I know it's very creative). Yet what we're doing is groundbreaking, and something I've always wanted to do. We are Producing documentaries! I can't say what the first doc is about due to confidentiality. Yet I will say that it is about women. It is about empowering women, and educating people. What we are doing in this doc has never been done, and the response from women has been immense. I feel very passionate about many women's issues, and this is just an extension of that. We've already begun shooting, and some of the interview segments have been life changing for all involved. I've actually had some of the women call and thank me for having them participate, which is ironic, because all I want to do is thank them for being brave enough to share their stories. Through doing this documentary, I have learned all about cameras, sound, and lighting. It's so cool! I now know terminology like 3 CCD and lux and zebra patterns! I'm even doing a lot of the editing. We already have another doc lined up once this is complete, so Reres/Fischman Productions is up and running! Finally, on a more personal note, I had a very lovely Thanksgiving holiday. I was able to spend a lot of time with my family, whom I would do anything in the world for. I hope everyone else had a good holiday as well. As for Halloween, I went to the party at the Playboy Mansion. It was such a blast. I will leave a few pics of my Producing partner and I at the party below...(I was a Dr.) It's so exciting to be having all of these life experiences that are rare, and I'll never forget. I feel very blessed. I was also invited on the Playboy cruise a few months ago, and it was among the best times in my life. (I don't want to pose or anything...but they sure have amazing events) (:
Well, I look forward to hearing from all of you...
Chat with you soon, and very HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Hi everyone!! June was a really exciting month, with a lot of firsts for me that I'd love to share. First, I'd like to say THANK YOU to those that have been visiting my site and following my work. You are all truly awesome, and it means a lot to me. Secondly, I have been getting some amazing letters via my website from fans, and it is nice to know that I could inspire someone, especially a young person. I got a wonderful letter from a girl by the name of Sarah Ferguson. Here is a short excerpt from her letter:
Dear Renee Reres,
I am a 10 year old girl who got your autograph with my sister. I think you are so beautiful in person, and hope to be an actress like you. Because of meeting you, I was in my school play and it was so much fun. I think you're right that I can do it. Thank you a lot!
Seriously though, things like that make my day! Kids need all the encouragement they can get these days.
Now, for the rest of my June news...
My big first is that I am now officially a film writer! Not that it takes much, only typing away on the computer. Yet I am such a horror film fan, and have wanted to write one for some time, and I finally came up with a GREAT idea with my mom. So, I started writing it, and the really great news is I already have a Distribution Co. interested in the film. So now I'll add Film Producer to my credits. I'll finally be one of the Actor"slash"Writer"slash"Producer types! Just kidding. Yet it is really exciting to be making a movie, and involved in every aspect of it. So, I can't tell you the title yet, but look for more info once we start shooting later this year. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer, and I look forward to hearing from more of you! Peace out (:
April was a great, very busy month. I did my photo shoot for UGO, and it was so fun...I actually ended up knowing a bunch of people at the shoot... The photographer, Michael, shoots for Wireimage, and has a cameo in Altered Reality. Another girl at the shoot, Lindsay, I had shot the feature film Shades of Blue with... I'd worked with the super fun makeup artist Victoria before... Finally, the PA and I had taken an acting class together a couple of years back... It was crazy! The shoot was awesome, and the location was beautiful. They even did a behind-the scenes segment, which was hysterical, and basically just me being a goof ball. Here you can see a few of the pictures of me from the shoot, as well as one with myself and Victoria. I will let everyone know when my pics and photo spread are up on the site. (www.UGO.com)
|April also brought an opportunity to do an interview with star chat magazine about Altered Reality. It's a really great magazine because it focuses on empowering youth, which is something I feel really strongly about. I got to talk a lot about younger girls, and how they grow up seeing a lot of negative things that can deter them in life, but the important thing is that they have faith in themselves. I just believe that things can be better, so I try to be part of the solution. My interview isn't on the site just yet, but I'm going to provide the link anyways, because you should check it out... it's a great magazine. (www.starchatenterprise.net)
Hope everyone's having a nice Spring, and all is well!
Here are some pics from my latest photoshoot. Don't forget to check my gallery also.
Great news! I have just been chosen to be the UGO.com "Girl of the Month". This is very exciting as it is a gaming and horror movie website and magazine. I LOVE video games and horror films. For those video gamers, I'm actually 5th in the Country playing Lumines Live! on XBox 360 right now. I will be doing a photo spread for their magazine, as well as a Q & A in the magazine and online. I will also be answering fans questions online. Stay tuned, and to check out the site just click here. (www.UGO.com)
Also, I recently starred in a music video for a very famous Spanish group...more details and footage to come!
And stay tuned as I will begin having a live blog on my site in the coming weeks...
I recently did an autograph signing for Tristar for the film Fright Club. It was so much fun, and I was so happy to meet some of my fans, and even take pictures with them. Here is a picture of me Tristar took at the event. There were the most adorable children coming up for autographs, and I was happy to oblige. One of the young girls told me she wanted to be an actress, and I told her to believe in herself ,and not to listen to anyone who tells her she can't be anything she wants to be.
|I recently had the great pleasure of shooting the trailer for the feature film Altered Reality, which I will be filming this year. It was such a wonderful experience because the cast and crew are so talented, warm, and fun. Here is a pic of me with some of the AR cast before shooting my beach scene. (it was not a warm day to be rolling around in the water (: You can also check out the trailer for the film at www.alteredrealityfilms.com.
|I just found out there is a fan site for me. Check it out here.
